Anja Huwe is the iconic singer of one of the forerunners of the post-punk movement – Xmal Deutschland. After the band’s success with four albums on cult labels such as 4AD, Huwe pursued a career in visual arts, still following her passion in music via various creative platforms. She came back to the international music scene with a bang in early 2024 with the successful release of her solo album “Codes”, along with exclusive re-releases of early Xmal Deutschland tracks, both on Sacred Bones Records, New York.
Kommunity FK was created by Patrik Mata in 1978 in the midst of the LA punk explosion. Unknowingly, Mata’s new musical genre became a cross between post punk against a darker gloom that became the genesis of American alternative/gothic/deathrock. Mata's style of creating original pieces reaches far into several genres of music with the classification of "Alternative Music"as the structured sound of Kommunity FK. Mata's influences of William S. Burroughs, Jean Cocteau, Salvador Dali, and early Bowie were woven through a dreamy musical side combined with experimental synthesized art punk. Kommunity FK's beginnings were raw. Mata's visionary soundscapes were all his own.

CREUX LIES (CA/US)
Out of Sacramento’s long shadow of concrete, heat, and late-night drives, Creux Lies emerged with a sound that treats post-punk not as revivalism but as a living dialect — guitars blooming in chorus, synths structured with architectural patience, and melodies delivered with a romantic urgency that resists irony. The lineup — Ean Clevenger (voice/songwriting), Barry Crider (guitar/vox), Jon Mack (synth/vox/drums), and Kyle Vorst (bass/synth) — writes songs that function equally as solitary listening and collective catharsis: dance music for people who read liner notes.Their third full length album will be released in Summer 2026.

Nyx Division is a four-piece post-punk, goth, rock ‘n’ roll band founded in 2021 and based in Portland, Oregon. GUILTY STRANGERS (CA/US)

After 7 years creating music as Guilty Strangers, Christine was struck by the tragedy of Shawn’s death. Five years later, Christine met guitarist Daniel Munoz in California. A new album, “Memento Mori” was released in 2023 as a tribute to Shawn, and an evolution of the band.

ENTERTAINMENT (GA/US)
Emerging from the new crop of US underground acts updating the American Deathrock + UK Post Punk aesthetic, Entertainment is raw and bleak. They channel the best parts of early 80s goth from a thousand years away. They’ve often been described as a perfect sum of their influences, the sound of death on vinyl, wrapped in layers of spaced-out dub, post punk shards, tinny synths, and cavernous silence.
Consisting of Chris Huggett and Nathan Wiltshire, Toronto’s Modele fuses dark, tonal vocals with melodic instrumentation to create a compelling alternative soundscape.
