It is the difficulty of a rigid definition und their versatility, that provides the band a status stamped by requirement and content, making them an important constant within the musical landscape, that lies beyond the common
mainstream.
From the bandname, borrowed from the writings of Friedrich Nietzsche, through to the powerful picture language and surrealistic items, which are basics of the bands oeuvre, conducted by P. L. poetic lyrics, which are thematically on a restless scout among melancholy and mystic, emotion and philosophy, sustained by catchy but complex arrangements, which avoid to bow to borders and conventions for keeping a emotional depth between melody and emotion, between roughness and longing You can discover every listening in a different new way.’

Biography
Hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, the band combines the shadowy mysticism of The Cure’s Pornography era with a driving production aesthetic akin to LCD Soundsystem. Intricate reverb-enveloped guitar lines glide over the motorik bass and powerful drumming, all while the taut and sincere vocals demands your attention.
The Foreign Resort have toured relentlessly, addicted to the allure of America’s lost highways, sharing bills with bands like Cold Cave, Killing Joke, The Soft Moon, She Past Away, The KVB, Minor Victories, Ash Code and many more. Since 2010, the band has been rigorous in playing more than 450 shows across North America and Europe with performances at several festivals incl. SXSW, Iceland Airwaves, Canadian Music Week, POP Montreal, Nocturnal Culture Night, Wave Gotik Treffen and W-Fest.
The trio released their latest full length album “Outnumbered” on Artoffact Records April 5th 2019 and are currently following up with shows and festival appearances in Europe and North America throughout 2019 and 2020.

Our last Red party of 2019 was beyond expectations in everything. Mad love to our New York Post Punk and Goth scene who came out and packed our holiday party until 4 am. The vibe was so beautiful and positively infectious. Thank you to the awesome Unmaker for playing for us. The show was an emotionally supercharged juggernaut. You should be very proud of yourselves right now. Thanks to our guest DJ Glenn for keeping the Dance-floor packed all night it is always fun to share the stage with you. This was the best way to end the year and really we can’t wait for 2020 to happen. As always we stand true to our creed. Quality Over Cruelty. We might not be the hippest party but then again we never ever wanted to be. Happy Holidays to everyone. See you all mad soon and once again thank you for all the love it is doubly returned.
